Feb 13th, 2024: Freedom?

Our personally attained freedom is a myth.

Yet, we claim to have it with our breath.

How can we be free while being monitored?

Our views might be too extreme, and governments see the need to have them censored.

How can we be free when we cannot have a voice?

We can hardly exercise our moral choices.

How can we have freedom amid political correctness oppression?

Our new worldview police will dictate the new life direction.

How can we be free when we cannot evoke the name of God?

According to our governments, we are now the new lightning rod.

How can we be free if we cannot raise our children according to our moral convictions?

We will be condemned and judged for educational renditions.

How can we be free when there is neither foundation nor a framework for what is right and wrong?

To whose eternal power is we belong?

How can we be free when we live a life of slavery?

We cherish our addictions and proclaim bravery.

Freedom is a gift.

It comes from knowing we are loved when we are adrift.

We learn to love in our struggles.

We acknowledge our brokenness in our understanding of being noble.

Galatians 5: 1

"It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery."
