Feb 11th, 2023: The Deception of Darkness

 

She is weary because of life's unexpected events.

She seeks ways to be amended.

She feels rejected by the one who is supposed to cherish her.

She searches for guidance as she wonders.

She longs for a sight to make things clear.

Things don't seem to be as they appear.

She wants to hear God's voice in the stillness of the night.

Darkness is deceptive, and she yearns for the light.

God speaks to her about her weariness.

Restoration is His business.

He wants her to cast her burden on Him.

The light in her heart is no longer dim.

She has no desire to be troubled by rejection.

God takes her by His hand and begins the journey of celebration.

She discovers the new freedom to praise His faithfulness.

She remains in the fullness of this night and its stillness.

Matthew 11: 28

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."
