Jan 31st, 2023: Our Real Battle

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart

    and lean not on your own understanding;

in all your ways submit to him,

    and he will make your paths straight."

Proverbs 3: 5-6

Sometimes I think we fight the wrong battle.

It is not about what we do not know that makes us rattled.

We blame the absence of godliness on our politicians.

Evils can get away with ambivalence.

Maybe these politicians are just props of incredible darkness.

Our real battle is against the principality of this world, not the flesh.

We need to trust God with the conviction that He is in control.

Our pathways need to be straight, so with Him, we roll.

The world has been deceived by the prince of darkness.

We should be able to tell his craftiness.

Our obedience will shed the needed light.

Evil will soon lose the fight.
