Jan 23rd, 2023: What If?

 

Doubting oneself is an experinece we have in common.

Sometimes it is a battle against an old demon.

What if we are going to fail?

We forget what God's love entails.

What if others think that we are foolish?

We forget that none of us is without blemish.

What if we struggle with the thought of not being good enough?

We should remember that sin has made life rough.

What if we sense the judgments of others?

Believe in God's love and decide not to bother.

What if we feel so alone in our thoughts?

It might be the best time to be with God.

Sometimes loving God is acknowledging our doubts.

Our limitations are what it is all about.

We can be secure in God's love.

It does not mean we are always aware of all blessings from above.

So when we experience worldly judgments.

We need to remind ourselves of Jesus's teaching about the commandments.

"Master, which is the great commandment in the law?

Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

This is the first and great commandment.

And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.

On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets."
