Dec 4th, 2022: Joy

 

Joy is more than a concept. It is a condition when we discover the meaning of living with a trusting and confident relationship with God. It is not a feeling. It is an understanding that goes beyond human expectations. Joy is not about being free from suffering. It is about going through suffering with hope and expectations.

Joy is not just a personal experience. It is our experience in being a part of a community. Joy doesn't focus on the self. It happens when we serve others. Joy will take us where we do not want to go while helping us realize how amazing God is.

John 15: 11
