Dec 2nd, 2022: God's Presence

Matthew says this about Jesus' birth - fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet: ‘Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel’ (which means, God with us) - (1:22-23)

God sent Jesus into the world; that is His gift to us. What does it mean?

He understands us. He is not foreign to what we are experiencing in this life.

He chooses to be with us according to His will. He gives us the same privilege to respond to His offer.

His presence in our life will bring restoration and redemption. It is the gift that transforms who we are.

How can we be God's presence to one another?
