Dec 25th, 2022: Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas!

We pray for our world that has been severely broken.

We ask for strength and wisdom to serve more than just a token.

We pray for all people because of our deep divisions.

We ask for courage to reach out to others beyond our limitations.

We pray for those who are hungry and homeless.

We ask for willingness to give beyond our sense of helplessness.

We pray for those who have been rejected and abandoned.

We ask for compassion to embrace them without any judgment.

We pray for peace amid global uncertainties.

We ask that we can look to overcome our self-righteous follies.

We pray for ourselves that we may seek true humility.

We ask God to grant us grace to overcome life uncertainties.

Isaiah 53:4-5

“Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds, we are healed.”
