Nov 8th, 2022: Wisdom in Patience
We sometimes honk when we are impatient.
We see nothing else except being expedient.
We assume the other driver doesn't know what he (she) is doing.
We somehow think we can make things better by honking.
Sometimes our impatience has taken over our perception of reality.
We cannot think straight as we forego our civility.
Patience is not just about waiting.
It is about gaining a better understanding.
We wait because we need to see what God has to say.
We seek wisdom while waiting so we won't go astray.
There is an element of suffering in being patient.
We don't just live our lives according to our convenience.
God is patient with us as he gives us our freedom of choice.
Patiently, He waits for us to hear His voice.
Patience sometimes demands courage.
God will speak to us about our bondage.
Proverbs 15: 18
"A hot-tempered person stirs up conflict, but the one who is patient calms a quarrel."
Ecclesiastes 7: 8
"The end of a matter is better than its beginning, and patience is better than pride."
