Nov 28th, 2022: A Small Religious Town

 

Having a beer in a small religious town is a new experience.

Not too long ago, it was a dry town to honor God's presence.

Small religious towns can be so intriguing.

We need more discernment to understand what we are seeing.

People seem to be nice on the surface.

Yet gossiping has destroyed much solace.

We can see churches in many places.

People have learned to wear many faces.

There is no freedom to talk about personal struggles.

It simply invites many other troubles.

Many have experienced intense loneliness.

Meanwhile, they wonder about God's greatness.

The sooner we are free to acknowledge our own fallacy.

The more we experience the restoration of our humanity.

Galatians 6: 3

"Since they did not know the righteousness of God and sought to establish their own, they did not submit to God’s righteousness."
