Nov 22nd, 2022: Transformation

Change is the only constant we have in life. Sometimes we need to change to face new external challenges. Sometimes we have to change because of our internal self-correction. We want to embrace changes without fear. However, we are sometimes reluctant because of our perception of losing control.

Our interaction with God should be the main reason we should take on changes. Personal transformation will take place with self-correction. Correction won't happen with intentional changes. Changes can be the outcome of honest and courageous personal reflection.

We fail to change because we prefer to stay within the realm of our comfort. Comfort can be a way for us to deny God's power. We need to be outside our comfort zone to discover what we have been missing regarding God's desire for us. Our world can be so small when we live within our own understanding of life.

Transformation is a journey for all of us. It has many beginnings, and we do not decide how it ends. Transformation is an outcome of worshiping God. Worship is meaningless when we are not after God's likeness. It is a genuine response to how God loves us.

Loving God is not static. We need to be on the move that takes us away from ourselves and towards God. One step at a time will take us through the journey of a lifetime.

Romans 12: 1

"Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship."

1 John 1: 9

"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness."
