Nov 21st, 2022: The Need To Be Still

 

Exodus 14:14

"The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still."

We want to fight.

We think it is our right.

We prefer to fight.

We aim to express our might.

We love to fight.

We have no insight.

We dare to fight.

We cannot see the difference between day and night.

We desire to fight.

We cannot fathom the light.

We won't walk away from a fight.

We are afraid of being on the losing side.

We don't know how to be still.

It is emotionally a drill.

We are afraid of being still.

We need to do something even though we don't know how we feel.

We are anxious about being still.

We have our desires to fulfill.

We hate being still.

It goes against our will.

Now we understand why God seems so far away.

We don't have faith, and He always has His way.
