Nov 14th, 2022: Companionship with Others and God

Companionship is being together without the need to be in control.

With acceptance and understanding, we roll.

It is about sharing ourselves with others without reservation.

We feel a sense of peace that has no limited description.

Companionship gives us the freedom to laugh and cry with one another.

No uncertainty makes us wonder.

We gain hope while being willing to walk through life together.

Failures and successes won't matter.

Companionship confirms that we build for a community.

Our spiritual growth will define our humanity.

We will have the needed courage to build others up.

We seek restoration before being washed up.

Companionship will grant us the needed rest.

It equips us to offer others our best.

Now we know why Jesus loves to have time with us.

During the darkest moment of His time on earth, He asked for His disciples' presence, not the fuss.

Proverbs 27: 17

"As iron sharpens iron,

So a man sharpens the countenance of his friend."

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

"Two are better than one,

Because they have a good reward for their labor.

For if they fall, one will lift up his companion.

But woe to him who is alone when he falls,

For he has no one to help him up.

 Again, if two lie down together, they will keep warm;

But how can one be warm alone?

Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him.

And a threefold cord is not quickly broken."
