Oct 5th, 2022: Outcomes of Fear

Fear can make us become cowards.

We lose all of our sense of rights and wrongs going forwards.

Fear can be a strong emotion.

It overtakes all other options.

Fear leads us to a place where we don't want to be.

Life is full of compromises, and we can no longer see.

Fear takes us captive in our thoughts.

We think we can be free, but we are bought.

Fear can force us to lie.

We lie to ourselves and others alike.

Fear won't let us open our eyes and seek righteousness.

We become lesser than God has intended for us in our humanness.

Fear breaks relationships and nurtures control.

We lose our ability to be bold.

Fear allows evil to dominate our circumstances.

We are unable to honor God's ordinances.

Fear won't let us speak the truth.

It plays around with what appears to be right in the midst of an untruth.

Deuteronomy 31: 6

"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you."

Psalm 34: 4-5

"I sought the Lord, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to him are radiant, and their faces shall never be ashamed."
