Sept 4th, 2022: More Thoughts on Failed Democratic Governments
Most young people have controlling fathers or mothers who would lose their confidence or healthy self-understanding.
They don't seem to be able to make decisions, and simple challenges make their heads spin.
We suppose to provide guidance for our kids, not totalitarian demands.
There is no relationship, and nothing is there to help them stand.
We don't want to control every aspect of our kids' lives.
Governments seem to do the opposite as their people start their fights.
Some parents even try to spy on their kids and friends.
We have the same feeling as governments tell us that they want to expand the use of "passports" to monitor their people in all domains.
Children can feel emotionally unsafe dealing with their controlling parents.
Now we know why people have so much angst towards their governments.
Good parents will be excited when their kids make meaningful choices.
Democratic governments will not be afraid that people want to have their voices.
Engaging parents don't have rules for every aspect of their kids' activities.
Democratic governments should not have laws to subdue their people's moral responsibilities.
We seem to use democracy as a new format of dictatorship bite.
As Thomas Jefferson once said, it is when 51% of people tell 49% of people that they have no right.
"If a ruler listens to falsehood, all his officials will be wicked." - Proverbs 29: 12
"But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil." - Hebrews 5: 14
