Sept 27th, 2022: There is a time for everything

The colors have started to change.

We see it is a beautiful time of the year as we walk along city park lanes.

We are getting ready for the colder weather in less than a few weeks.

Seasonal changes can bring back many memories.

We remember the smell wood stove oven and the feeling of fresh chill on our skin.

We can hear the sound of geese flying south in the wind.

We are also experiencing another kind of change in life.

Somehow nothing has been the same since the Covid 19's strike.

Life is more expensive, and our freedom is curtailed.

No business seems to have enough labor while service is derailed.

Governments have used Covid as an excuse for the lack of transparency and clarity.

We cannot have a season of hope when that dark cloud continues overcasting our safety.

There ought to be a change in season when God can have a place in our affairs.

Without that, we will continue a season of despair.

Ecclesiastes 3: 1-8

There is a time for everything,

and a season for every activity under the heavens:

a time to be born and a time to die,

a time to plant and a time to uproot,

a time to kill and a time to heal,

a time to tear down and a time to build,

a time to weep and a time to laugh,

a time to mourn and a time to dance,

a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,

a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,

a time to search and a time to give up,

a time to keep and a time to throw away,

a time to tear and a time to mend,

a time to be silent and a time to speak,

a time to love and a time to hate,

a time for war and a time for peace."
