Sept 24th, 2022: What Are We About?

 

"People in therapy are often in therapy to deal with people in their lives who won't go to therapy." - Unknown

That is the nature of sin.

It always takes others for an undesirable spin.

We say that it is our right to choose.

Others have nothing to lose.

Well, it does not work that way sometimes.

We often find ourselves in a bind.

We say that people should mind their own business.

What if our action creates a mess?

We say that we want to be free to express ourselves.

That freedom should not need any permission from other-selves.

We say that morality is not permanent. Nothing is.

Yet, we daily encounter the permanency of human selfishness in our abyss.

We say that God is dead.

We then experience the slow death of our gradual emptiness.

We say that we don't need forgiveness from anyone.

We now enter the state of forever done.

2 Corinthians 4: 4

Jeremiah 50: 6

"My people have been lost sheep. Their shepherds have led them astray, turning them away on the mountains. From mountain to hill they have gone. They have forgotten their fold."
