Sept 23rd, 2022: Do You...?

Do you see what I see?

The vision we have for tomorrow is frightening in various degrees.

Do you hear what I hear?

People are screaming for basic food and shelter while our government is proud to be a carbon tax collector.

Do you feel what I feel?

Anger and frustration are what we experience, to name a few.

Do you share what we don't understand?

Our knowledge of who we are has become increasingly messed up; we define ourselves according to our own demands.

Do you see the loss of our human decency?

Our leaders don't seem to understand the difference between going to a funeral and being at a Karaoke bar.

My heart was saddened and overjoyed when I attended the funeral of a lady friend.

She had given much to her family, church, and little kids within her community fence.

She saw preciousness in kids, gifts in her children, and joy in her fellowship with others.

In many ways, she understood God's goodness and faithfulness more than many of our nation's leaders.

The last word we heard from her during the video presentation on life was "Thank You for Coming."

Do we see what she sees where she's going?

1 Chronicle 16: 11
