Sept 21st, 2022: Post Covid Struggles

I have heard more and more about the impact of isolation due Covid 19.

Mental health is a real issue as we now deal with various manifestations that have never been.

Anxiety suffering is on the rise.

It is more than something just passing by.

People are anxious about the future.

We don't have any idea what else we have to endure.

Children have to learn how to play again.

They feel awkward after many months of social distancing disdain.

Isolation reveals to us that we can't always be emotionally intimate.

Many couples find themselves in a state of relational stalemate.

We don't know how to talk about what is in our hearts.

We soon discover that while sitting in the same living room, yet so far apart.

We struggle to be still.

We become restless and irritated while trying to chill.

Many of us learn how to pray with our eyes open.

We don't know what other surprises governments might have in the Covid oven.

The other side of isolation is division.

Everything started with the talk about vaccination.

Many of us cannot decide what is wrong and right.

Too much information with many contradictions creates fights.

Families are isolated from one another and now divided.

We cannot win because we are humans with all of our spirit dried.

Romans 12: 12

"Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer."
