Sept 20th, 2022: A Cloud Ahead
I see a dark cloud ahead, and I am wondering.
Some people ask what is the greatest moral challenge in our time.
The conclusion is how we think about morality itself; we should not be surprised.
Is it an outcome of our collective cultural interests?
Cultures can be wrong; they have their own biased at their best.
Is it a conclusion we should have in facing diversity?
Our celebration of diversity is not free from mistakes, so it leaves us with a sense of perplexity.
Is it our adherence to what the majority has to think?
A majority can make a corporate mistake, and yet no one blinks.
Is it what we understand as common sense?
That assumes we can always figure things out for ourselves.
That is the cloud ahead.
We have no clear sense of morality as we face our spiritual death.
