Sept 12th, 2022: Pomposity
The Prime Minister proudly says he will save Canada from the newly elected opposition leader.
He fails to understand that many Canadians have been praying he will be a goner.
His pomposity makes me sick.
No Prime Minister has been that crooked and thinks he is slick.
I guess he is afraid he can't hide behind the jargon of the day anymore.
Accountability is not what he used to since he came to power.
His moral compass is questionable.
His attempts to be sincere whenever he talks are laughable.
He does not like people who question his policies.
He will call them names, and then under pressure, he acts cowardly.
He loves to pontificate instead of engaging in meaningful exchange.
He would put a high school kid down while failing to give an answer for his failed promised change.
He does not understand that he should never test God.
I pray that he will learn to lead with humility, or he might cod.
Life has been hard for many people.
I hope he will see the truth even through the eye of a needle.
"And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him." - Hebrews 11: 16
"“You shall not put the Lord your God to the test, as you tested him at Massah." - Deuteronomy 6: 16
"One thing is certain: the humility of faith, if it is followed by the proper consequences-by the acceptance of the work and sacrifice demanded by our providential task-will do far more to launch us into the full current of historical reality than the pompous rationalizations of politicians who think they are somehow the directors and manipulators of history." ~ Thomas Merton
