Sept 1st, 2022: Wisdom in Leadership

Some leaders do not have the wisdom to know when to step aside.

Their need for power has made them blind.

They insist that they still have a role to play.

People have told them the opposite by staying away.

Their desire for recognition has diminished their original message.

Now what comes out of the mouth can be perceived as garbage.

They continue to insist on how great they are.

Their followers have become rare.

We need to know that everything has its own shelf life.

From human ideology to technology, we continue to see changes.

Leadership has no exception.

It is wise to walk away according to our own condition.

Having the privilege to lead and having the need for power is not the same.

Religious leaders are sometimes tempted by a similar game.

If we are about God and His purpose for humanity,

we need to be free in leaving all behind; that is our legacy.

Staying longer can lead to control, manipulation, and abuse.

In the Kingdom of God, that has no use.

"Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers, but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law, he meditates day and night." - Psalm 1: 1-2
