Aug 12th, 2022: Signs of Spiritual Dementia

 

There is more evidence for spiritual dementia than we are willing to admit.

None of us is free from it.

We are more disorganized morally than in any period of human history.

We are content to be wannabes.

Our whole society suffers from a severe form of truth constipation.

It is a challenge to know where to get reliable information.

We fail to hear one another, see what we have in common, taste the richness of disagreements and sense the goodness of God.

We are manipulated by those who have given themselves to evil's sharp claw.

We no longer share a common language in our communication.

We want to reach out yet are confined by our mangled manipulation.

We have no idea what is left and what is right.

The route to righteousness has become less bright.

We might think that God has forgotten us.

The propagation of the social agenda has put Him under the bus.

God will have His voice again in human affairs.

He will restore the world, and nothing can compare.

Zephaniah 2:1-3

 

"Gather yourselves together, yes, gather together,

 O undesirable nation, 

 Before the decree is issued, 

 Or the day passes like chaff, 

 Before the Lord's fierce anger comes upon you, 

 Before the day of the Lord's anger comes upon you! 

 Seek the LORD, all you meek of the earth, 

 Who have upheld His justice?

 Seek righteousness, seek humility. 

 It may be that you will be hidden 

 In the day of the Lord's anger."
