July 5th, 2022: How Do We Fail?

How do Christians fail?

By believing there is no evil, so ungodliness prevails.

We have compromised ourselves with the glamour of this world.

We now find ourselves having no voice while dealing with overwhelming confusion as life turns absurd.

We have bought into the lies of those who defy the truth.

We now stumble over the mine-field of barren land that bears no fruits.

People long to see the power of God in how we live.

They cannot see any difference because we are after the same things that make others feel they arrive.

Maybe we need to give our head a shake.

We might find out that much of who we are is fake.

The prince of darkness would love to see that to be played out.

People will not have any idea of who God is about.

The language of compromise is the pathway to death.

So there is evil in the world, and we should not put that idea to bed.

Ephesians 6: 11-12

"Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places."
