July 3rd, 2020: Do Not Be Anxious

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." - Philippians 4: 6-7

To be anxious plays a significant part in our life sometimes.
We cannot look ahead as the present makes us blind.

We don't know what to think and how to pray.
Our minds are in one severe confusion, and our hearts are at bay.

What does it mean to remain in prayer always?
First, it means to let God has a say.

We cannot hear God with an ungrateful heart.
Our requests are not mysteries to God even though He let us impart.

To seek peace is learning how to trust.
We will go astray when we display disobedient thrust.

We will never fully understand our hearts and minds.
We need to make an effort to protect them against the absence of the divine.

Our hearts are at peace when we are in communion with God.
Our minds will receive God's understanding then we won't be at odds.
