July 29th, 2022: Where is God?

We have heard many stories about traveling lately.

Major airports worldwide don't seem to be able to cope effectively.

Indeed, flying is not that pleasant these days.

Covid-19 protocols have created much more delay.

It is rather interesting to see the differences between the US and Canada.

I begin to wonder whether it is our indifferences or propaganda.

No one seems to disagree that the virus is still around.

Deciding what to do with that knowledge is another fighting round.

Maybe when God is not in the picture anymore,

we feel the need to control our circumstances to the core.

Or we are just so afraid of dealing with ourselves and one another.

We won't find peace and security as we wonder.

There has been so much loss because of how we deal with this virus.

We are viewing the aftermath of a global circus.

Where is God in all of this?

He is always with us if we are free and courageous enough to acknowledge it.

"Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence?" - Psalm 139: 7
