July 20th, 2022: Relationship is a Journey

We have heard many horror stories about traveling lately.

We are now dealing with various post-pandemic impacts comprehensively.

Many of us have been waiting to resume traveling.

It is part of our search for life's meaning.

We want to see our loved ones in other countries.

It is how we keep in touch and remain in the same family.

Some of us believe that traveling helps us grow.

We become more aware of how life in other places flows.

Sometimes we travel to escape the mundane of life.

We seek excitement and changes while dealing with personal strife.

Some of us travel to regain the bonds of friendships.

Distance and time-lapse can create some emotional hardship.

Our life with God is also a traveling journey.

We desire his presence because we search for the meaning of life as it conveys.

We want to be in touch with what is there although we cannot always physically touch for feel.

God's love for us invites us to go outside our personal shield.

We don't want to accept the meaninglessness of life.

We know what the outcome of triviality and superficiality are combined.

We want to regain what we have lost.

We long to discover the vastness of God's love and its cost.

As the world continues to struggle with its brokenness,

the journey we have with God will bring about some sense of wholeness.

Romans 5:3-5

"Not only that, but we also boast in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, endurance produces character, and character produces hope. Now, this hope does not disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us."
