June 28th, 2022: Thoughts About Daily Events

 

Russian missile strike hits a shopping mall in the middle of the day.

They say it is war. We say it is inhumane and coward as they make civilians pay.

Protests continue in the US against the Supreme Court judgment concerning Roe vs Wade.

Many cry out for women's rights when others continue to debate.

Food and gas prices continue to rise as poor people wonder how to cope.

Our political leaders keep pushing our nations towards various slippery slopes.

No more Canada Day Celebrations, the city of Winnipeg declares.

They call it "New Day" as the day will be celebrated by the same old and broken people with their new affairs.

Some people joke about Justin Trudeau has decided to invite American women to plan their abortion tourism in Canada.

They do need to have at least triple vaccination in order to cross the border by air or car.

So I sat and wonder what will be next.

Nothing can stop me from being perplexed.

War, death, cancellation of culture and history, fight for the perceived right, cost of living, and political corruption are on our daily menu.

Without God, we indeed do not know what to pursue.
