July 1st, 2022: Drawing Deep

 

"The purposes of a person’s heart are deep waters, but one who has insight draws them out." - Proverbs 20: 5

We know that we don't fully understand our hearts.
When we want to love someone, sometimes we don't even know where to start.

Sometimes it seems to go beyond our capability when we learn how to love.
The deep water seems to be so mystical or enticing or both.

We are afraid of love because we have no idea what to expect.
It is one step at a time; our hearts suspect.

We then realize that it is not something we have.
We just share what we have received in awe.

We pray that we have the courage to gain daily insight.
So we can make the burdens of others light.

We keep drawing and thinking that we are at the end.
We then become amazed by how deep that well is; we cannot comprehend.
