April 9th, 2020: Free Choice...
The term mandate has been used more often since the last pandemic.
Some even think it is satanic.
Corona-virus is indeed challenging to our health globally.
Its final assessment is an ongoing gathering of data medically.
Governments seem to be very eager to attain power during the pandemic.
Power is dangerous when its abusive use is systemic.
The worst predicament for humanity is the reality of sin.
It continues to control all aspects of our lives and well-being.
The Cross is the ultimate vaccine for our sinful condition.
With it, we experience forgiveness, restoration and redemption.
Yet God has chosen to allow us to make a choice.
Whether we say yes or no to God's offer, we still have a voice.
The biblical mandate is not about having to accept the gift of life.
It is about sharing with others about that gift while knowing our strife.
Freedom of choice is not about doing anything we want.
It is about learning to walk with one another while being aware of our struggle with ungodly intent.
1 Galatians 5: 1
"It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery."
