April 28th. 2022: Bless Be The Lord

One-third of the year is almost over.

I am happy that I don't have to shovel.

I always feel alive at this time of the year.

The winter is indeed too long to bear.

Covid-19 did not really help either.

Many of us end up suffering from cabin fever.

It appears as if people are awkward being together.

We don't fully know how to behave and what is acceptable.

Restaurant workers observe that young people are indeed rowdy.

Maybe they have to let go of their penned-up emotions outwardly.

Some older folks are more reluctant to get out.

They seem to think that Covid-19 will give us another bout.

Perhaps it is time to yield to God and His sovereignty.

Life is a gift, and springtime reminds us that we will rise from death to life with certainty.

God desires to plant in our life gardens.

He will prepare the soil of the heart and fertilize our spirit.

Covid-19 will never take away our will to live.

We will one day experience once again the meaning of being free.

Psalm 103: 1-5

"Bless the Lord, O my soul,

And all that is within me; bless His holy name.

Bless the Lord, O my soul,

And forget none of His benefits;

Who pardons all your iniquities,

Who heals all your diseases."
