April 25th, 2022: God's Greatness

How are we going to define the greatness of God?

It has nothing to do with making one specific nation great again and leaving the rest of the world to rot.

We aim to gain political power with the ideas to advance the Christian agenda.

Only to discover that we are facing our sinful dilemma.

Jesus' teaching tells us that the great among us will learn to be servants.

Human ideology cannot define the power of the Gospel; it is the power that crushes the head of the serpent.

Our true power comes from our willingness to identify with Jesus.

One that takes through the journey of dying with Him and being raised with Him; it is the experience that frees us.

The need to gather earthy power has compromised our ability to witness.

People would not see hope and freedom when they have to deal with our horrendous mess.

We have identified with the powers that be to abuse people.

We are supposed to fight for the poor, the oppressed, the broken, and the feeble.

We need to have a transformed mind and a renewed spirit.

So we don't drag ourselves to the pit.

What makes us strong is not about having a great and wealthy nation.

That is how we understand the nature of temptation.

We commit ourselves to overcoming evil with good.

Then we take our stand and be the needed light in the world and our hood.

Romans 12: 2

"Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect."
