April 10th, 2022: Palm Sunday
It is time to have to ponder and discover what we seek.
Many celebrated His entry to Jerusalem triumphantly.
Only to witness that He suffered and died from human cruelty.
With branches from Palm trees, they went to wait for Him and cried "Hosanna".
Can we say the same thing as we wait for Him and invite Him to enter and reside with our hearts?
I wonder how many of these people were with Him when he was crucified.
Even his disciples had a hard time staying with Him and were terrified.
We don't have a problem believing in God when things are easy.
It is a lot harder when things turn upside down and are messy.
Seeking God first is our lifelong calling.
Yet, we are constantly distracted by other lovers' conniving.
Jesus also says that "He is the resurrection and the life".
So that those who believe in Him will live will never die.
Are we looking for life in admitting our brokenness?
Or finding an easy way out while entertaining our own selfishness?
Luke 19: 37-38
"As he was drawing near, already on the way down the Mount of Olive, the whole multitude of his disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen. Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven and glory in the highest."
